Mapp Intelligence also uses cookies. These are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. For example, information on the operating system, the browser, your IP address, the website you have previously visited (referrer URL) and the date and time of your visit to our website are recorded. The information generated by this text file on the use of our website is transferred to Mapp servers in Germany and stored there, not merged with other data or passed on to third parties.

All evaluations are not carried out on a personal basis, but in anonymized form, i.e. personal identification features are replaced by a label for the purpose of excluding or considerably complicating the determination of the person concerned. For this purpose, the IP address is only stored in abbreviated and thus anonymized form and is only used for session recognition, geolocalization (down to city level) and for defense against attacks. The IP address is then immediately deleted again, so that the data collected is then anonymous and no assignment to the identity of the user is possible, even via the Internet Service Provider.

The processing of personal data by means of the cookies used is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO if consent is requested and granted via the cookie data protection settings displayed. Furthermore, the improvement in the user-friendliness of the website made possible by the data evaluation constitutes a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

When you access the Internet pages of our website that are equipped with a plug-in from the provider Vimeo, a connection is established to the Vimeo servers and the plug-in is displayed. This tells the Vimeo server which of our Internet pages you have visited. In order to prevent data transmission beyond this, the embedding of corresponding videos on our pages is done in a way that prohibits the setting of additional cookies by Vimeo. However, if you are logged in to a personal user account on Vimeo when you access the pages that are equipped with a corresponding plug-in, Vimeo can assign certain information about the Internet pages you have visited to your personal user account. When you use the plug-in, such as when you click on the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your Vimeo user account before using our website.

We use the provider Youtube, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland for the integration of videos on our website.

Normally, when you visit a page with embedded videos, your IP address is sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have embedded our YouTube videos with the enhanced privacy mode. This means that YouTube no longer stores any information about visitors unless you are watching the video. Your IP address will not be transmitted to YouTube until you have given your consent in the cookie settings to use the video playback function.
